The OVA is

"a nonprofit organization formed for the purpose of  acting as a non-partisan civic organization to encourage and aid all year round & seasonal residents of the Village of Osterville and to work together for the best interests of the Village."

Around Osterville News: 

 Rockland Trust Bank clock is being fixed on March 2nd, and will be telling the correct time soon. The motor was burnt out on the clock.

The OVA is "going green". Electronic newsletters coming soon. The OVA will send out instructions on where to submit your email address in the near future.

   Chocolate Fest was Feb. 6th see the pictures.

OVA donated $4600 to Christmas Charities.

Tom Frederick, representing Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands gave a presentation on the new program starting up within the school system. The Town Council has given its support to the Barnstable mentoring initiative. Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands are partnering with the Barnstable public schools to form a new adult volunteer mentoring program within our school system. The Barnstable town council supports participation of all Barnstable town employees and residents. The mentoring volunteers will be required to commit to a one year position.
